Downtown Historic Cartersville Fast Becoming Shopping and Dining Destination. 

A movement that began many years ago to revitalize historic downtown Cartersville and to make it an attractive destination is seeing great success. Cartersville, a Georgia Main Street City, has benefited from the tireless efforts of government, downtown property owners and merchants, and the Cartersville Downtown Development Authority. The result of all this hard work is resurgence in businesses that are attractive to both residents and visitors alike. Many new businesses opened in Fall/Winter 2002 including M'Vorneen's Irish Pub and Alex Boutique, and the community continues to grow.

Visitors to Cartersville enjoy parking their cars at the Welcome Center at the Depot in Friendship Plaza and walking to dozens of great restaurants and about 25 shops in a two-block square.

The Cartersville Welcome Center offers free information and maps daily: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM -5 PM on Saturday 11 AM.-2 PM Sunday 1:30-4:30 PM

M’vorneen’s Irish Pub and the 104 Creative Venue events facility are conveniently located in historic downtown Cartersville, Georgia at the intersection of Main Street and South Museum Drive, opposite the Train Tracks and the Visitor Center. 

We are just minutes off of I-75 near lake Alatoona at Exit 288 and near all major freeways in the NW Georgia and Greater Atlanta and South Chattanooga, TN metro areas.

Free parking is available in our private lot. Hours are 11am to Midnight Monday through Saturday. Closed Sunday. Non smoking environment.
